Claudia Blancett embarked on her career in the airline industry in 1980, initially working in reservations for TWA. However, the ATC strike in 1981 led to significant layoffs, prompting Claudia to transition into the role of a travel agent. In 1984, she took her talents to United Airlines, where she worked in Reservations before becoming a member of the Pan Am Acquisition Team stationed in Auckland, New Zealand.

Subsequently, Claudia relocated to Australia, where she embarked on a multifaceted career that spanned Qantas, Ansett, and Australian Airlines. Here, she found her niche as an Instructor, training airline employees and travel agents in the intricacies of 29 different airline systems.

Upon her return to the United States, Claudia rejoined United Airlines and diversified her experience, working in Customer Service, Ramp Service, Baggage Service, and continuing her role as an instructor. Her remarkable journey in the airline industry culminated in her early retirement in 2010, after which she ventured into the field of internet security, focusing on customer service. She also created the original United Retired group on Facebook.

With her ultimate retirement in 2023, Claudia now has the opportunity to channel her expertise and dedication into assisting her fellow retirees in bridging the education gap when it comes to navigating the employee computer systems for travel planning.
